Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)
This is the fastest path. It signs you out and removes your account and all associated data in one flow.
- Open the YallaFit app and sign in if you aren't already.
- Tap the Profile or Settings icon (bottom-right of the home screen).
- Scroll to the bottom of the Settings list.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the warning. You'll be signed out immediately and your data deleted from our servers within minutes.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, or you can't sign in, send an email to:
Include the email address you used to sign up. We'll verify the request, complete the deletion, and confirm by reply within 3 business days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following are removed from our servers and cannot be recovered:
- Your profile (name, email, height, weight, sex, date of birth, goal, diet preference, activity level)
- All food log entries, meal photos, voice transcripts, and meal descriptions
- All weight entries
- All daily logs (calories, macros, water, steps)
- All recipes you created
- All user settings, preferences, and reminder schedules
- Your authentication record
What we keep
Two things survive deletion, by necessity:
- Subscription receipts. If you ever subscribed through Google Play or the App Store, your purchase receipts remain with those stores per their policies — not with us. Manage subscription renewals and refunds through Google Play or App Store account settings.
- Anonymous, aggregated analytics. Counts like “total daily active users” persist in aggregated form with no link back to any individual.
Cancelling a subscription is separate
Deleting your YallaFit account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To cancel:
- Google Play: Play Store app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → YallaFit → Cancel subscription.
- App Store: Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → YallaFit → Cancel Subscription.
