Therinds Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar browser technology used on therinds.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

1. Current position

The site's current code does not use analytics, advertising, cross-site tracking, or personalisation cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or a marketing tag manager.

The site's own code does not set cookies or use persistent browser storage. Because there are no optional cookie categories to choose between, we do not display an opt-in cookie banner. A banner that offers “accept” and “reject” would be misleading in the current configuration.

2. Strictly necessary network security

Cloudflare delivers and protects the website. If a network-level security challenge is triggered for suspicious or abusive traffic, Cloudflare may use a strictly necessary security cookie or similar storage. The site's current source code does not embed a third-party verification widget, and Therinds does not use Cloudflare security data for advertising.

The exact operation and duration of a Cloudflare security mechanism can depend on the security event, browser, and Cloudflare account configuration. These settings must be reviewed again if the Cloudflare configuration changes.

3. Technology that is not a cookie

Our hosting provider processes ordinary server request logs for delivery, reliability, and security. Server logs are not browser cookies. The website assistant keeps the open conversation in page memory only; the current code does not save that conversation to localStorage or a first-party conversation cookie.

4. Consent rule for future changes

We will review this policy and add a consent control before loading any non-essential analytics, advertising, cross-site tracking, or personalisation technology. Where consent is required, optional tools will remain off until the visitor makes a clear choice, and withdrawing consent will be as easy as giving it.

5. Browser controls

You can block or delete cookies using your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary network-security storage may occasionally prevent the site from loading during a security challenge. You can instead email hello@therinds.com.
